🌙 Overnight Postpartum Care:

💛 What is overnight postpartum care?

Overnight care allows you to rest and recover while I tend to your baby’s nighttime needs — including feedings, diaper changes, soothing, and observation. Parents can sleep peacefully knowing their baby is lovingly cared for throughout the night.

🌼 What happens during an overnight shift?

When I arrive in the evening, we review your baby’s routine and goals. During the night, I handle all baby care and record important details. For breast/chestfeeding parents, I’ll gently wake you for feeds and support you, then settle your baby back to sleep so you can rest again.

Average shift: 8–10 hours, often 8 p.m.–6 a.m.(depending on doula's travel time)

🌙 Do you stay in the nursery?

That’s entirely up to you. I can quietly care for your baby in their nursery, your room, or a nearby space — always in alignment with your family’s setup and preferences.

Daytime care focuses on easing your early parenting days and making life feel more balanced. Support may include:

🌿 How is a postpartum doula different from a nanny?

A nanny provides childcare; a postpartum doula nurtures the whole family. I focus on rest, recovery, and emotional well-being — supporting both baby and parents as a unit.

💐 Do you offer packages or hourly options?

Yes! You can book flexible hours or purchase ongoing support packages for consistent care throughout your early weeks postpartum.

🌜 What is virtual sleep consulting?

Virtual sleep support provides personalized, evidence-based guidance via video or phone. Whether you’re working on naps, soothing techniques, or overnight routines, I help you create a gentle, effective plan from anywhere in the world.

🌙 What age group do you work with?

I work with families of babies and young children — typically birth through age five — with plans tailored to each child’s development and your unique comfort level.

🧸 What does a typical package include?

Each package includes:

  • A personalized intake and sleep assessment

  • A private consultation (60–90 minutes)

  • A custom, responsive sleep plan

  • Follow-up and message support
    All with a gentle, attachment-focused approach — no harsh methods or unnecessary tears.

🤱 Will my baby have to “cry it out”?

Never in a way that feels wrong for your family. Crying is a way babies communicate. I help you respond with connection, trust, and consistent support, not rigid routines or “one-size-fits-all” methods.

🌷 Are you certified or trained?

Yes! I’m a Certified Postpartum Doula and Pediatric Sleep Consultant, with ongoing education in evidence-based infant care, safety, and family wellness. I also maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications.

🍼 Do you support all feeding preferences?

Absolutely. Whether you breastfeed, chestfeed, bottle feed, or mix-feed, I offer nonjudgmental, informed care that respects your choices.

☀️ How far in advance should we book?

Because postpartum care is deeply relational, spots often fill early. I recommend reaching out during pregnancy or just after birth to reserve your preferred dates.
